This starter policy explains the basic data model. Before production launch, replace it with a legally reviewed policy for your jurisdiction and actual vendors.

Data we process

For anonymous redirects, Linkly may process request metadata needed for analytics, such as country, device, browser, operating system, referrer and a privacy-safe visitor hash. Raw IP addresses are not displayed in the dashboard.

Accounts

Registered users provide a name, email and password. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, not plaintext.

Retention

Define and publish a specific retention period appropriate for your business before launch.
